When my youngest daughter is traveling overseas this summer, she will be armed with a few homeopathic remedies to help her adjust to the 9 hour time difference.

Arnica

It can be helpful to take a dose of arnica before getting on the flight, a dose or two during the flight, and another dose after you arrive. Arnica is indicated for jet lag when your body feels achy, sore and bruised.

 

Cocculus indicus

Cocc. ind is indicated for when you feel very tired, but still unable to sleep. Excessive fatigue and weakness, often accompanied by nausea, and feeling dizzy.

 

Gelsemium

Gelsemium is indicated when you feel heavy and weak. Eyes and body feel heavy and droopy. Body can feel sooo tired and heavy, it’s often described like feeling as if paralyzed.
