3 Homeopathic Remedies for Jet Lag

When my youngest daughter is traveling overseas this summer, she will be armed with a few homeopathic remedies to help her adjust to the 9 hour time difference.

Traveling is fun and exciting, and something we look forward to. What is not so fun, is when jet lag lingers for up to a week and interferes with our precious vacation time. Homeopathy works gently, and is safe for all ages.

The following 3 homeopathic remedies can help your body get adjusted in no time.

It can be helpful to take a dose of arnica before getting on the flight, a dose or two during the flight, and another dose after you arrive. Arnica is indicated for jet lag when your body feels achy, sore and bruised.

Cocculus indicus

Cocc. ind is indicated for when you feel very tired, but still unable to sleep. Excessive fatigue and weakness, often accompanied by nausea, and feeling dizzy.

Gelsemium is indicated when you feel heavy and weak. Eyes and body feel heavy and droopy. Body can feel sooo tired and heavy, it’s often described like feeling as if paralyzed.

I suggest getting the remedies in the 30c potency.

The remedies are gentle and safe for all the members of your family, from tiniest and up.

Remember to stay hydrated during and after your flight!

Happy travels!
